^7 [a]For ^(A)it is only right for me to feel this way about you all, because I ^(B)have you in my heart, since both in my ^[b](C)imprisonment and in the ^(D)defense and confirmation of the ^(E)gospel, you all are ^[c]partakers of grace with me.

¹⁶ the latter do it out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the ^(A)gospel;

²⁷ Only conduct yourselves in a manner ^(A)worthy of the ^(B)gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear about you that you are ^(C)standing firm in ^(D)one spirit, with one ^[a]mind ^(E)striving together for the faith of the gospel;

²² But you know ^(A)of his proven character, that ^(B)he served with me in the furtherance of the gospel ^(C)like a child serving his father.
