The Goal of Life

3 Finally, my brothers and sisters, ^(A)rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things again is no trouble for me, and it is a safeguard for you.

²¹ I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but ^(A)because you do know it, and ^[a]because no lie is ^(B)of the truth.

⁵ Now I want to ^(A)remind you, though ^(B)you know everything once and for all, that ^[a]the Lord, ^(C)after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, ^[b]subsequently destroyed those who did not believe.
