⁶ “I have installed my king^(A)
    on Zion,^(B) my holy mountain.^(C)”

He said to me, “You are my son;^(D)
    today I have become your father.^(E)
8 Ask me,
    and I will make the nations^(F) your inheritance,^(G)
    the ends of the earth^(H) your possession.
⁹ You will break them with a rod of iron^[a];^(I)
    you will dash them to pieces^(J) like pottery.^(K)”

¹⁰ Therefore, you kings, be wise;^(L)
    be warned, you rulers^(M) of the earth.
¹¹ Serve the Lord with fear^(N)
    and celebrate his rule^(O) with trembling.^(P)
12 Kiss his son,^(Q) or he will be angry
    and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath^(R) can flare up in a moment.
    Blessed^(S) are all who take refuge^(T) in him.

²⁷ All the ends of the earth^(A)
    will remember and turn to the Lord,
and all the families of the nations
    will bow down before him,^(B)

¹¹ May all kings bow down^(A) to him
    and all nations serve^(B) him.

⁹ All the nations you have made
    will come^(A) and worship^(B) before you, Lord;
    they will bring glory^(C) to your name.
