Psalm 44:22-26

²² Yet for your sake we face death all day long;
    we are considered as sheep^(A) to be slaughtered.^(B)

²³ Awake,^(C) Lord! Why do you sleep?^(D)
    Rouse yourself!^(E) Do not reject us forever.^(F)
24 Why do you hide your face^(G)
    and forget^(H) our misery and oppression?^(I)

²⁵ We are brought down to the dust;^(J)
    our bodies cling to the ground.
²⁶ Rise up^(K) and help us;
    rescue^(L) us because of your unfailing love.^(M)
