He is our ^(B)help and our shield.

¹¹ Do not kill them, ^(A)or my people will forget;
^[a](B)Scatter them by Your power and bring them down,
Lord, ^(C)our shield.

⁹ See our ^(A)shield, God,
And look at the face of ^(B)Your anointed.

¹¹ For the Lord God is ^(A)a sun and ^(B)shield;
The Lord gives grace and ^(C)glory;
^(D)He withholds no good thing ^[a]from those who walk with integrity.

⁵ Every ^(A)word of God is ^[a]pure;
He is a ^(B)shield to those who take refuge in Him.
