²¹ The wicked borrows but does not pay back,
    but the righteous ^(A)is generous and gives;

⁹ He has ^(A)distributed freely; he has given to the poor;
    his righteousness endures for ever;
    his ^(B)horn is exalted in honour.

^17 (A)Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord,
    and he ^(B)will repay him for his ^(C)deed.
