³⁷ It shall be established forever ^(A)like the moon,
And a ^(B)witness in the sky is faithful.” Selah

¹⁹ He made the moon ^(A)for the seasons;
The ^(B)sun knows the place of its setting.
²⁰ You ^(C)appoint darkness and it becomes night,
In which all the ^(D)animals of the forest ^[a]prowl about.
²¹ The ^(E)young lions roar for their prey
^[b]And ^(F)seek their food from God.
²² When the sun rises they withdraw,
And they lie down in their ^(G)dens.
²³ A person goes out to ^(H)his work
And to his labor until evening.

⁹ “For ^[a]this is like the days of Noah to Me,
When I swore that the waters of Noah
Would ^(A)not ^[b]flood the earth again;
So I have sworn that I will ^(B)not be angry with you
Nor rebuke you.
¹⁰ For the ^(C)mountains may be removed and the hills may shake,
But My ^[c]favor will not be removed from you,
Nor will My ^(D)covenant of peace be shaken,”
Says ^(E)the Lord who has compassion on you.
