The Red Dragon, Satan

³ Then ^(A)another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red ^(B)dragon having ^(C)seven heads and ^(D)ten horns, and on his heads were ^(E)seven crowns.

⁷ And the angel said to me, “Why ^[a]do you wonder? I will tell you the ^(A)mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her, which has the ^(B)seven heads and the ten horns.

^9 (A)Here is the mind which has wisdom. The ^(B)seven heads are seven mountains upon which the woman sits,

¹² The ^(A)ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast ^(B)for one hour.

¹⁶ And the ^(A)ten horns which you saw, and the beast, these will hate the prostitute and will make her ^(B)desolate and ^(C)naked, and will ^(D)eat her flesh and will ^(E)burn her up with fire.
