Romans 13:12-14

12 The night is nearly over, and the day is near;(A) so let us discard the deeds of darkness(B) and put on the armor of light.(C) 13 Let us walk with decency,(D) as in the daytime: not in carousing and drunkenness;(E) not in sexual impurity and promiscuity; not in quarreling and jealousy. 14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ,(F) and make no provision for the flesh to gratify its desires.(G)

12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.(A) So let us put aside the deeds of darkness(B) and put on the armor(C) of light. 13 Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in carousing and drunkenness,(D) not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy.(E) 14 Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ,(F) and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.[a](G)
