¹⁵ Catch for us the foxes,^(A)
    the little foxes
that ruin the vineyards,^(B)
    our vineyards that are in bloom.^(C)

¹² Let us go early to the vineyards^(A)
    to see if the vines have budded,^(B)
if their blossoms^(C) have opened,
    and if the pomegranates^(D) are in bloom^(E)—
    there I will give you my love.

¹² But my own vineyard^(A) is mine to give;
    the thousand shekels are for you, Solomon,
    and two hundred^[a] are for those who tend its fruit.
