¹¹ Take from them silver and gold, and make a crown, ^(A)and set it on the head of ^(B)Joshua, the son of Jehozadak, the high priest. ¹² And say to him, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Behold, the man whose name is ^(C)the Branch: for he shall branch out from his place, and ^(D)he shall build the temple of the Lord. ^13 (E)It is he who shall build the temple of the Lord ^(F)and shall bear royal honor, and shall sit and rule on his throne. And there^[a] shall be a ^(G)priest on his throne, ^(H)and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.”’

¹⁴ Since then we have ^(A)a great high priest ^(B)who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, ^(C)let us hold fast our confession.

¹⁷ Therefore he had ^(A)to be made like his brothers in every respect, ^(B)so that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest ^(C)in the service of God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.
