^2 [a](A)An overseer, then, must be above reproach, ^(B)the husband of one wife, ^[b](C)temperate, self-controlled, respectable, ^(D)hospitable, ^(E)skillful in teaching,

^12 (A)Deacons must be ^(B)husbands of one wife, and ^[a](C)good managers of their children and their own households.

⁹ A widow is to be ^(A)put on the list only if she is not less than sixty years old, having been ^(B)the wife of one man,

⁶ namely, ^(A)if any man is beyond reproach, the ^(B)husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of ^(C)indecent behavior or ^(D)rebellion.

¹¹ And He *said to them, “^(A)Whoever ^[a]divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her; ¹² and ^(B)if she herself ^[b]divorces her husband and marries another man, she is committing adultery.”

⁹ And I say to you, ^(A)whoever ^[a]divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman ^[b]commits adultery^[c].”
