Exodus 6:1-3
1599 Geneva Bible
6 8 God reneweth his promise of deliverance of the Israelites. 9 Moses speaketh to the Israelites, but they believe him not. 10 Moses and Aaron are sent again unto Pharaoh.
1 Then the Lord said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see, what I will do unto Pharaoh: for by a strong hand shall he let them go, and even [a]be constrained to drive them out of his land.
2 Moreover God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the Lord,
3 And I appeared unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob by the Name of [b]Almighty God, but by my Name [c]Jehovah was I not known unto them.
