¹² But ^[a]as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become ^(A)children of God, ^(B)to those who ^[b]believe in His name,

¹⁶ For I am not ^(A)ashamed of the gospel, for ^(B)it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the ^(C)Jew first and also to ^(D)the Greek.

The Wisdom of God

¹⁸ For the word of the cross is ^(A)foolishness to ^(B)those who ^[a]are perishing, but to us who ^[b]are being saved it is ^(C)the power of God.

²⁹ For this purpose I also ^(A)labor, ^(B)striving ^(C)according to His ^[a]power which ^[b]works mightily within me.

²⁴ but to those who are ^(A)the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ ^(B)the power of God and ^(C)the wisdom of God.

¹⁶ that He would grant you, according to ^(A)the riches of His glory, to be ^(B)strengthened with power through His Spirit in ^(C)the inner ^[a]self, ¹⁷ so that ^(D)Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being ^(E)rooted and ^(F)grounded in love, ¹⁸ may be able to comprehend with ^(G)all the ^[b]saints what is ^(H)the width and length and height and depth, ¹⁹ and to know ^(I)the love of Christ which ^(J)surpasses knowledge, that you may be ^(K)filled to all the ^(L)fullness of God.
