7 a woman came up to him holding an alabaster flask of very expensive perfumed oil, and poured it[a] out on his head while he[b] was reclining at table. 8 And when[c] the disciples saw it[d] they were indignant, saying, “Why[e] this waste? 9 For this could have been sold for a large sum and given to the poor!”
