¹³ for it is ^(A)God who is at work in you, both to ^[a]desire and to work ^(B)for His good pleasure.

¹⁴ who ^(A)gave Himself for us ^(B)to redeem us from every lawless deed, and to ^(C)purify for Himself a ^(D)people for His own possession, ^(E)eager for good deeds.

¹⁰ For we are His workmanship, ^(A)created in ^(B)Christ Jesus for ^(C)good works, which God ^(D)prepared beforehand so that we would ^(E)walk in them.

¹⁰ so that you will ^(A)walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, ^[a](B)to please Him in all respects, ^(C)bearing fruit in every good work and ^[b]increasing in the ^[c]knowledge of God;

¹⁶ Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may ^(A)see your good works, and ^(B)glorify your Father who is in heaven.

²⁰ Now may ^(A)the God of peace, who ^(B)brought up from the dead the ^(C)great Shepherd of the sheep ^[a]through ^(D)the blood of the ^(E)eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord, ^21 (F)equip you in every good thing to do His will, ^(G)working in us that ^(H)which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, ^(I)to whom be the glory forever and ever. ¹³ and do not go on ^(A)presenting ^[a]the parts of your body to sin as ^[b]instruments of unrighteousness; but ^(B)present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead, and ^[c]your body’s parts as ^[d]instruments of righteousness for God.
