^7 [a]Rest in the Lord and ^(A)wait ^[b]patiently for Him;
^(B)Do not get upset because of one who is ^(C)successful in his way,
Because of the person who carries out wicked schemes.

⁹ For ^(A)evildoers will be eliminated,
But those who wait for the Lord, they will ^(B)inherit the land.
¹⁰ Yet ^(C)a little while and the wicked person will be no more;
And you will look carefully for ^(D)his place and he will not be there.

³⁸ But wrongdoers will altogether be ^(A)destroyed;
The future of the wicked will be ^(B)eliminated.

⁶ He will ^(A)judge among the nations,
He ^[a]will fill them with ^(B)corpses,
He ^[b]will ^(C)shatter the ^[c]chief men over a broad country.

²⁸ But ^[a]wrongdoers and sinners together will be ^(A)broken,
And those who abandon the Lord will come to an end.

²¹ For behold, the Lord is about to ^(A)come out from His place
To ^(B)punish the inhabitants of the earth for their wrongdoing;
And the earth will ^(C)reveal her bloodshed
And will no longer cover her slain.
