2 O Lord, listen to me.[a]
Pay attention to[b] my plea for mercy.
3 If you, O Lord, were to keep track of[c] sins,
O Lord, who could stand before you?[d]
4 But[e] you are willing to forgive,[f]
so that you might[g] be honored.[h]
