¹⁴My dove,^(A) in the clefts of the rock,^(B)
in the crevices of the cliff,
let me see your face,^[a]
let me hear your voice;^(C)
for your voice is sweet,
and your face is lovely.^(D)

Woman

¹⁵^[b]Catch the foxes for us^(E)—
the little foxes that ruin the vineyards—
for our vineyards are in bloom.^(F)

¹⁶My love is mine and I am his;^(G)
he feeds among the lilies.
