¹⁰ He who descended is Himself also He who ascended ^(A)far above all the heavens, so that He might ^(B)fill all things.) ¹¹ And He ^(C)gave ^(D)some as apostles, some as prophets, some as ^(E)evangelists, some as ^[a]pastors and ^(F)teachers, ^12 (G)for the equipping of the ^[b]saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of ^(H)the body of Christ;

² While they were ^[a]serving the Lord and fasting, ^(A)the Holy Spirit said, “Set ^(B)Barnabas and Saul apart for Me for ^(C)the work to which I have called them.” ³ Then, when they had fasted, ^(D)prayed, and ^(E)laid their hands on them, ^(F)they sent them away.

⁶ They passed through the ^[a](A)Phrygian and ^(B)Galatian region, after being forbidden by the Holy Spirit to speak the word in ^[b](C)Asia;
