57 The righteous perish,^(A)
    and no one takes it to heart;^(B)
the devout are taken away,
    and no one understands
that the righteous are taken away
    to be spared from evil.^(C)

² Those who walk uprightly^(A)
    enter into peace;
    they find rest^(B) as they lie in death.
