مخصوص مقدس دن
23 خدا وند نے موسیٰ سے کہا ، 2 “بنی اسرائیلیوں سے خدا وند کے خاص تقریب کا اعلان کرنے کو کہو جسے تم کو مقدس اجتماع کہنا چاہئے۔ یہ میرے خاص وقت ہیں۔ ”
سبت
3 “چھ دن کام کرو اور ساتواں دن سبت کا ہے ، آرام کا خاص دن ہے۔ یہ آرام کا دن ایک خاص دن یا مقدس اجتماع کا دن ہوگا۔ اس دن تمہیں کوئی کام نہیں کرنا چاہئے۔ ہر جگہ جہاں تم رہو یہ خدا وند کا سبت ہے۔
فسح
4 “یہ خدا وند کے خاص وقت ، چُنے ہوئے مقدس اجتماع ہیں۔ جن کا تمہیں انکے مناسب وقت پرا علان کرنا چاہئے۔ 5 خدا وند کی فسح کی تقریب پہلے مہینے کی چودھویں دن کو غروب آفتاب کے بعد شروع ہوتی ہے۔
بغیر خمیری روٹی کی تقریب
6 “اس مہینہ کے پندرھویں دن کو خدا وند کے لئے بغیر خمیری روٹی کی تقریب ہوگی۔ تم سات دن کے لئے بغیر خمیری روٹی کھاؤ گے۔ 7 اس تقریب کے پہلے دن تم ایک مقدس اجتماع کرو گے۔ اس دن تمہیں
کوئی کام نہیں کرنا چاہئے۔ 8 سات دن تک تم خدا وند کو تحفے پیش کروگے۔ اور ساتویں دن ایک مقدس اجتماع ہوگا اس دن تمہیں کوئی کام نہیں کرنا چاہئے۔ ”
پہلی فصل کی تقریب
9 خدا وند نے موسیٰ سے کہا : 10 “بنی اسرائیلیوں سے کہو : جب تم اس زمین میں جاؤ جسے میں تمکو دے رہا ہوں تو اسکی فصل کاٹو۔ اس وقت تمہیں اس فصل کی پہلی پولی ( مٹھا) کاہن کے پاس لانا چاہئے۔ 11 کا ہن پو لی کو خداوند کے سامنے لہرا ئے گا تب وہ تمہا رے لئے قبول کر لی جا ئے گی۔ کاہن ان سب پو لیوں کو سبت کے دن کے بعد لہرا ئے گا۔
12 “جس دن وہ پو لیوں کو لہراتا ہے اس دن تم کو ایک سال کا ایک نر میمنہ خداوند کے لئے جلا نے کی قربانی دینی چا ہئے۔ یہ جانور بے عیب ہو نا چا ہئے۔ 13 تمہیں ۱۶ پیالے زیتون تیل سے ملے ہو ئے اچھے آٹے کی اناج کی قربانی ایک کوارٹ مئے کے ساتھ پینے کے نذرانے کے طور پر دینی چا ہئے۔ یہ خداوند کے لئے ایک تحفہ ، ایک میٹھی خوشبو ہے۔ 14 جب تک تم اپنے خدا کو قربانی نہیں چڑھا تے تب تک تم کو ئی نیا اناج یا پھل یا نئے اناج سے بنی روٹی نہیں کھا سکتے۔ وہ جہا ں کہیں بھی رہیں یہ شریعت تمہا ری نسل در نسل چلتی رہے گی۔
پینٹی کوسٹ کی تقریب
15 “سبت کے دن کے بعد اس دن کی صبح سے جس دن تم نے لہرانے کا نذرانہ لا یا تھا پو رے سات ہفتہ گِنو۔ 16 ساتویں ہفتے کے بعد کے دن ( یعنی ۵۰ دن بعد ) تم خداوند کے لئے نئے اناج کی قربانی لا ؤگے۔ 17 اس دن تم اپنے گھروں سے دو دو روٹیاں لا ؤ یہ روٹیاں لہرا نے کی قربانی ہو گی۔ سولہ پیالے اچھے آٹے سے اس روٹی کو بنا ؤ اور اسے خمیر کے ساتھ پکا ؤ۔ یہ تمہا ری فصل کے پہلے پھلوں سے خداوند کے لئے قربانی ہو گی۔
18 “اناج کی قربانی کے ساتھ ایک بچھڑا دو مینڈھے اور ایک ایک سال کے سات نر میمنے قربانی کرو۔ ان جانوروں میں کو ئی عیب نہیں ہو نا چا ہئے۔ یہ خداوند کے لئے جلا نے کی قربانی ہو گی۔ یہ سب انکے اناج کی قربانی پینے کی قربانی اس کے خوشبودار مہک کے ساتھ خداوند کے لئے تحفہ ہو گا۔ 19 تم ایک بکرے کی قربانی گناہ کی قربانی کے طور پر اور دو ایک سالہ میمنہ ہمدردی کے طور پر بھی دو گے۔
20 “کا ہن ان سب کو فصل کے پہلے پھلوں سے دیئے گئے رو ٹی کے نذرانے کے ساتھ خداوند کے سامنے اوپر اٹھا ئے گا۔ یہ سب خداوند کے لئے مقدس تھے۔ اور یہ سب کاہنوں کے استعمال کے لئے تھے۔ 21 اسی دن تم ایک مقدس اجتماع منعقد کرو گے تم اس دن کو ئی کام نہیں کرو گے۔ تم جہاں کہیں بھی رہوں گے یہ شریعت تمہا ری نسل در نسل کے لئے لا گو رہے گی۔
22 “جب تم اپنے کھیتوں کی فصل کاٹو تو تمہیں کھیت کے کو نوں تک تم فصل کو نہیں کاٹنا چا ہئے۔ اور جو اناج زمین میں گِرے اُسے مت اٹھا ؤ۔ اسے تم غریب لوگوں اپنے ملک میں رہنے وا لے غیر ملکیوں کے لئے چھو ڑدو۔ “میں تمہا را خداوند خدا ہوں۔”
بگل کی تقریب
23 خداوند نے موسیٰ سے پھر کہا۔ 24 “بنی اسرائیلیوں سے کہو : ساتویں مہینے کے پہلے دن تمہیں آرام کا خاص دن اور یادگاری کے دن کے طور پر منا نا چا ہئے۔ اس مقدس اجتماع کے دن تمہیں بِگل پھونکنا چا ہئے۔ 25 تمہیں اس دن کو ئی کام نہیں کرنا چا ہئے۔ لیکن تمہیں خداوند کے لئے تحفہ لا نا ہو گا۔”
کفّارہ کا دن
26 خداوند نے موسیٰ سے کہا۔ 27 “دھیان رکھو کہ ساتویں مہینے کے دسویں دن کفارے کا دن [a] ہے ، تمہا رے لئے ایک مقدس اجتماع ہے۔ اس دن تمہیں خاکسار ہو نا چا ہئے اور خداوند کو تحفہ پیش کرنا چا ہئے۔ 28 تم اس دن کو ئی کام نہیں کرو گے کیوں کہ یہ کفارہ کا دن ہے ، خداوند تمہا رے خدا کے سامنے تمہا رے خود کے لئے کفّارہ دینے کا دن ہے۔
29 اگر کو ئی آدمی اس دن اپنے کو خاکسار کر نے سے انکار کرتاہے۔ تو اسے اپنے لوگوں سے الگ کر دیا جا ئے گا۔ 30 اگر کو ئی آدمی اس دن کام کرے گا تو اسے میں ( خدا ) اُ س کے لوگوں میں سے اس کو تباہ کردو ں گا۔ 31 تمہیں کو ئی بھی کام نہیں کرنا چا ہئے یہ شریعت تم جہاں کہیں بھی رہو تمہا ری تمام نسلوں کے لئے ہمیشہ لا گو رہے گی۔ 32 یہ دن خاص کر کے تمہا رے لئے پو رے آرام کا دن ہے تمہیں اپنے آپ میں خاکسار ہو نا چا ہئے۔ تمہیں آرام کا یہ خاص دن مہینے کے نویں دن کے شام سے شروع کرنا چا ہئے [b] اور یہ پو رے آرام کے دن کے طور پر اگلے دن شام تک رہے گا۔”
پناہ کی تقریب
33 خداوند نے موسیٰ سے پھر کہا ، 34 “بنی اسرائیلیوں سے کہو : ساتویں مہینے کے پندرھویں دن پناہ کی تقریب کا دن ہو گا۔ خداوند کے لئے یہ مقدس تقریب سات دن تک چلے گی۔ 35 پہلے دن ایک مقدس اجتماع ہو گا۔ اس دن تمہیں کو ئی کام نہیں کرنا چا ہئے۔ 36 تم سات دنوں تک خداوند کو تحفہ پیش کرو گے۔ آٹھویں دن تم دوسرا مقدس اجتماع منعقد کرو گے۔ تم خداوند کو تحفہ پیش کرو گے۔ یہ تقریب کا دن ہے۔ تمہیں کو ئی کام نہیں کر نا چا ہئے۔
37 “یہ سب خداوند کے خاص مقررہ تقریب ہیں جسے
تمہیں مقدس اجلا س کے طور پرخداوندکو تحفہ پیش کر نے کے لئے معّین کرنا چا ہئے۔ تمہیں جلانے کا نذرانہ ، اناج کا نذرانہ ، دوسرے نذرانے اور مئے کا نذرانہ بھی ، ہر ایک کو اس کے مقررہ وقت پر پیش کرنا چا ہئے۔ 38 یہ سب خداوند کے سبت کے دن کے علا وہ ، تحفہ کے علا وہ اور تیرے کئے گئے کسی وعدہ کو پو را کر نے کے لئے پیش کئے گئے قربانی کے علا وہ ، اور کسی رضاء کا نذرانہ جسے تمہیں خداوند کو پیش کر نا ہو گا ، کے علا وہ ہیں۔
39 “دھیان رکھو ساتویں مہینے کے پندرھویں دن جب تم زمین کی فصل کا ٹو گے تو تم خداوند کی اس تقریب کو سات دن تک منا ؤ گے پہلا دن آرام کا دن اور آٹھواں دن بھی آرام کا دن ہے۔ 40 پہلے دن تم اپنے لئے درختوں سے تازہ پھل لا ؤ گے۔ اور تم کھجو ر کے درخت ، پتّے دار درخت اور بید کے درخت کی شاخیں بھی لا ؤ گے۔ تم اپنے خداوند خدا کے سامنے سات دن تک جشن منا ؤ گے۔ 41 “تم اس مقدس تقریب کو ہر سال خداوند کے لئے سات دن تک منا ؤ گے۔ یہ شریعت تمہا ری تمام نسلوں کے لئے ہمیشہ رہے گی۔ یہ تقریب ساتویں مہینے میں منا ئی جا ئے گی۔ 42 اس تقریب کے لئے تم سات دن تک عارضی پناہ گا ہوں میں رہو گے۔ اسرائیل کے تمام شہری ان پناہ گا ہوں میں رہیں گے۔ 43 تمہا ری نسلوں کو معلوم کرانے کے لئے جب میں بنی اسرائیلیوں کو مصر سے با ہر لایا تو انہیں میں نے عارضی پناہ گا ہوں میں بسایا تھا۔ میں خداوند تمہا را خدا ہوں۔”
44 اس طرح موسیٰ نے بنی اسرائیلیو ں کو خداوند کے خاص مقررہ تقریب کے با رے میں بتا یا۔

The Appointed Festivals
23 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘These are my appointed festivals,(A) the appointed festivals of the Lord, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies.(B)
The Sabbath
3 “‘There are six days when you may work,(C) but the seventh day is a day of sabbath rest,(D) a day of sacred assembly. You are not to do any work;(E) wherever you live, it is a sabbath to the Lord.
The Passover and the Festival of Unleavened Bread(F)
4 “‘These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:(G) 5 The Lord’s Passover(H) begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month.(I) 6 On the fifteenth day of that month the Lord’s Festival of Unleavened Bread(J) begins; for seven days(K) you must eat bread made without yeast. 7 On the first day hold a sacred assembly(L) and do no regular work. 8 For seven days present a food offering to the Lord.(M) And on the seventh day hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.’”
Offering the Firstfruits
9 The Lord said to Moses, 10 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land I am going to give you(N) and you reap its harvest,(O) bring to the priest a sheaf(P) of the first grain you harvest.(Q) 11 He is to wave the sheaf before the Lord(R) so it will be accepted(S) on your behalf; the priest is to wave it on the day after the Sabbath. 12 On the day you wave the sheaf, you must sacrifice as a burnt offering to the Lord a lamb a year old(T) without defect,(U) 13 together with its grain offering(V) of two-tenths of an ephah[a](W) of the finest flour mixed with olive oil—a food offering presented to the Lord, a pleasing aroma—and its drink offering(X) of a quarter of a hin[b] of wine.(Y) 14 You must not eat any bread, or roasted or new grain,(Z) until the very day you bring this offering to your God.(AA) This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come,(AB) wherever you live.(AC)
The Festival of Weeks(AD)
15 “‘From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the wave offering, count off seven full weeks. 16 Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath,(AE) and then present an offering of new grain to the Lord. 17 From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an ephah(AF) of the finest flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits(AG) to the Lord. 18 Present with this bread seven male lambs, each a year old and without defect, one young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to the Lord, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings(AH)—a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord. 19 Then sacrifice one male goat for a sin offering[c] and two lambs, each a year old, for a fellowship offering. 20 The priest is to wave the two lambs before the Lord as a wave offering,(AI) together with the bread of the firstfruits. They are a sacred offering to the Lord for the priest. 21 On that same day you are to proclaim a sacred assembly(AJ) and do no regular work.(AK) This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live.
22 “‘When you reap the harvest(AL) of your land, do not reap to the very edges of your field or gather the gleanings of your harvest.(AM) Leave them for the poor and for the foreigner residing among you.(AN) I am the Lord your God.’”
The Festival of Trumpets(AO)
23 The Lord said to Moses, 24 “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the first day of the seventh month you are to have a day of sabbath rest, a sacred assembly(AP) commemorated with trumpet blasts.(AQ) 25 Do no regular work,(AR) but present a food offering to the Lord.(AS)’”
The Day of Atonement(AT)
26 The Lord said to Moses, 27 “The tenth day of this seventh month(AU) is the Day of Atonement.(AV) Hold a sacred assembly(AW) and deny yourselves,[d] and present a food offering to the Lord. 28 Do not do any work(AX) on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the Lord your God. 29 Those who do not deny themselves on that day must be cut off from their people.(AY) 30 I will destroy from among their people(AZ) anyone who does any work on that day. 31 You shall do no work at all. This is to be a lasting ordinance(BA) for the generations to come, wherever you live. 32 It is a day of sabbath rest(BB) for you, and you must deny yourselves. From the evening of the ninth day of the month until the following evening you are to observe your sabbath.”(BC)
The Festival of Tabernacles(BD)
33 The Lord said to Moses, 34 “Say to the Israelites: ‘On the fifteenth day of the seventh(BE) month the Lord’s Festival of Tabernacles(BF) begins, and it lasts for seven days. 35 The first day is a sacred assembly;(BG) do no regular work.(BH) 36 For seven days present food offerings to the Lord, and on the eighth day hold a sacred assembly(BI) and present a food offering to the Lord.(BJ) It is the closing special assembly; do no regular work.
37 (“‘These are the Lord’s appointed festivals, which you are to proclaim as sacred assemblies for bringing food offerings to the Lord—the burnt offerings and grain offerings, sacrifices and drink offerings(BK) required for each day. 38 These offerings(BL) are in addition to those for the Lord’s Sabbaths(BM) and[e] in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings(BN) you give to the Lord.)
39 “‘So beginning with the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you have gathered the crops of the land, celebrate the festival(BO) to the Lord for seven days;(BP) the first day is a day of sabbath rest, and the eighth day also is a day of sabbath rest. 40 On the first day you are to take branches(BQ) from luxuriant trees—from palms, willows and other leafy trees(BR)—and rejoice(BS) before the Lord your God for seven days. 41 Celebrate this as a festival to the Lord for seven days each year. This is to be a lasting ordinance for the generations to come; celebrate it in the seventh month. 42 Live in temporary shelters(BT) for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in such shelters 43 so your descendants will know(BU) that I had the Israelites live in temporary shelters when I brought them out of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.’”
44 So Moses announced to the Israelites the appointed festivals of the Lord.

3 Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the Lord in all your dwellings.
4 These are the feasts of the Lord, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.
5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord's passover.
6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
9 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:
11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.
12 And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto the Lord.
13 And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the Lord for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin.
14 And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your God: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete:
16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord.
17 Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals; they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto the Lord.
18 And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto the Lord, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto the Lord.
19 Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the Lord, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to the Lord for the priest.
21 And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
22 And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am the Lord your God.
23 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
26 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
33 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the Lord.
35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
37 These are the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
38 Beside the sabbaths of the Lord, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto the Lord.
39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the Lord seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.
40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your God seven days.
41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
43 That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of the Lord.
