بۆ سەرۆکی کۆمەڵی مۆسیقاژەنان، زەبوورێکی داود.
20 با یەزدان لە ڕۆژی تەنگانەدا بە دەنگتەوە بێت،
با ناوی خودای یاقوب بتپارێزێت.
2 با لە پیرۆزگاکەیەوە یارمەتیت بۆ بنێرێت و
لە سییۆنەوە پشتگیریت بکات.
3 با هەموو قوربانییەکانی تۆی لەبیربێت و
هەموو قوربانی سووتاندنەکانی تۆ قبوڵ بکات.[a]
4 با ئارەزووی دڵت بهێنێتە دی و
هەموو مەبەستەکانت بە ئەنجام بگەیەنێت.
5 هەلهەلە لێدەدەین بۆ ڕزگاربوونت و
بە ناوی خودامانەوە ئاڵا بەرز دەکەینەوە.
با یەزدان هەموو داواکارییەکانت بەجێبهێنێت.
6 ئێستا زانیم کە یەزدان دەستنیشانکراوەکەی[b] ڕزگار دەکات،
لە پیرۆزگا ئاسمانییەکەی خۆیەوە بە دەنگییەوە دێت،
بە توانای ڕزگاریی دەستە ڕاستی.
7 هەندێک شانازی بە گالیسکە دەکەن و هەندێک بە ئەسپ،
بەڵام ئێمە شانازی بە ناوی یەزدانی پەروەردگارمان دەکەین.
8 ئەوان چەمانەوە و کەوتن،
بەڵام ئێمە هەستاین و چەسپاین.
9 ئەی یەزدان، پاشا ڕزگار بکە!
کە لێت دەپاڕێینەوە بەدەنگمانەوە وەرە!

Psalm 20[a]
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 May the Lord answer you when you are in distress;(A)
may the name of the God of Jacob(B) protect you.(C)
2 May he send you help(D) from the sanctuary(E)
and grant you support(F) from Zion.(G)
3 May he remember(H) all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.[b](I)
4 May he give you the desire of your heart(J)
and make all your plans succeed.(K)
5 May we shout for joy(L) over your victory
and lift up our banners(M) in the name of our God.
May the Lord grant all your requests.(N)
6 Now this I know:
The Lord gives victory to his anointed.(O)
He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary
with the victorious power of his right hand.(P)
7 Some trust in chariots(Q) and some in horses,(R)
but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.(S)
8 They are brought to their knees and fall,(T)
but we rise up(U) and stand firm.(V)
9 Lord, give victory to the king!
Answer us(W) when we call!
