یسوع کی موت سے جی اٹھنے کی خبر
20 ہفتہ کا پہلا دن مریم مگد لینی قبر پر آئی ابھی تا ریکی تھی دیکھا کہ قبر کا پتھر ہٹا ہوا ہے۔ 2 وہ دوڑ کر شمعون پطرس اور دوسرے شاگردوں کے پاس گئی۔(جو یسوع سے محبت کرتے تھے ) مریم نے کہا ، “انہوں نے خدا وند کو قبر سے نکا ل لیا ہے پتہ نہیں انہیں کہاں رکھا گیا ہے۔”
3 پھر پطرس اور شاگرد قبر کی طرف گئے۔ 4 وہ دونوں دوڑ رہے تھے لیکن شاگرد پطرس سے زیادہ تیز دوڑا اور سب سے پہلے قبر پر پہونچا۔ 5 شاگرد نے قبر میں دیکھا کہ سوتی کپڑے کے ٹکڑے پڑے ہو ئے تھے لیکن وہ اندر نہیں گیا۔
6 شمعون پطرس ان کے پیچھے ہی پہونچا اس نے قبر میں جا کر دیکھا کہ سوتی کپڑے کے ٹکڑے پڑے تھے۔ 7 اس نے یہ بھی دیکھا جو رومال یسوع کے سر پر لپیٹا تھا اس کو لپیٹ کر ان ٹکڑوں سے علٰیحدہ کچھ دور پڑا تھا۔ 8 تب دوسرا شاگرد اندر آیا یہ وہ شاگرد تھا جو قبر پر پہلے پہونچا تھا جو کچھ اس نے دیکھا اور یقین کیا۔ 9 کیوں کہ وہ اب تک صحیفوں کو نہ جانتے تھے جس کے مطا بق مسیح کو مردوں میں سے زندہ ہو ناتھا۔
یسوع کا مریم مگد لینی پر ظاہر ہونا
10 پس وہ شاگرد واپس گھر چلے گئے۔ 11 لیکن مریم قبر کے با ہر کھڑی رو تی رہی اور روتے ہوئے اس نے قبر میں جھانک کر دیکھا۔ 12 مریم نے دیکھا دو فرشتے جو سفید لباس میں ملبوس وہاں بیٹھے تھے جہاں یسوع کی لا ش کو رکھا گیا تھا ایک فرشتہ یسوع کے سرہا نے بیٹھا تھا اور دوسرا فرشتہ یسوع کے پاؤں کی طرف بیٹھا تھا۔
13 فرشتوں نے مریم سے پوچھا ، “اے عورت تم کیوں رورہی ہو ؟”مریم نے جواب دیا ، “کچھ لوگ میرے خداوند کی لاش لے گئے ہیں میں نہیں جانتی ان لوگوں نے اسے کہاں رکھا ہے۔” 14 جب مریم نے یہ کہہ کر رخ پھیرا تو دیکھا کہ یسوع کھڑا ہے لیکن وہ نہیں سمجھی کہ وہ یسوع ہے۔
15 یسوع نے اس سے پو چھا ، “اے عورت! تو کیوں رو رہی ہے اور کس کو ڈھونڈ رہی ہے؟”
مریم سمجھی شاید یہ آدمی باغ کا نگہبان ہے۔ چنانچہ مریم نے اس سے کہا ، “جناب کیا تم نے ہی یسوع کو یہاں سے اٹھا یا ہے مجھ سے کہو تم نے اسے کہاں رکھا ہے تا کہ میں جا کر اسے لے آؤ ں۔”
16 یسوع نے اس سے کہا ، “اے مریم!” اور مریم نے یسوع کی جانب مڑکر عبرانی زبان میں کہا ، “ربوّنی”(جسکے معنٰی استاد کے ہیں )
17 یسوع نے اس کو کہا، “مجھے مت چھو نا کیوں کہ میں ابھی تک اپنے باپ کے پاس اوپر نہیں گیا” لیکن میرے بھائیوں (شاگردوں) کے پاس جا کر کہو کہ ’میں اپنے اور تمہارے باپ کے پاس اوپر جا رہا ہوں۔ میں اوپر اپنے اور تمہا رے خدا کے پاس جا رہا ہوں۔‘”
18 مریم مگدلینی نے آکر شاگردوں سے کہا ، “میں نے خدا وند کو دیکھا اور اس نے مجھ سے یہ باتیں کہیں۔”
یسوع کا شاگردوں پر ظاہر ہونا
19 ہفتہ کا پہلا دن تھا اسی دن شام میں سب شاگرد جمع تھے۔ دروازوں کو یہودیوں کے ڈر سے بند رکھا تھا۔ تب یسوع آکر ان کے درمیان کھڑا ہوا۔ 20 اور کہا تم پر سلامتی ہو یہ کہہ کر اس نے شاگردوں کو اپنا ہاتھ اور بازو دکھا یا پس شاگردوں نے خداوند کو دیکھا اور بہت خوش ہو ئے۔
21 یسوع نے دوبارہ کہا ، “تم پر سلامتی ہو باپ نے مجھے یہاں بھیجا ہے اسی طرح اب میں تم سب کو بھیجتا ہوں۔” 22 یسوع نے ان پر پھو نکا اور کہا، “روح مقدس لو۔ 23 جن لوگوں کا گناہ تم معاف کرو انکا گناہ معاف اور جنہیں معاف نہ کرو ان کا گناہ معاف نہ ہو گا۔”
یسوع تھو ما پر ظا ہر ہوا
24 تو ما جسے توام بھی کہتے ہیں۔ یسوع کے آنے کے وقت دوسرے شاگردوں کے ساتھ نہ تھا۔ تھو ما ان بارہ شاگردوں میں سے ایک تھا۔ 25 دوسرے شاگردوں نے تھو ما سے کہا ، “ہم نے خدا وند کو دیکھا” تب تھو ما نے کہا ، “میں جب تک اسکے ہا تھوں میں کیلوں کے نشان نہ دیکھوں اور ان سورا خو ں میں اپنے ہا تھ نہ ڈالوں اور جب تک میں اپنا ہاتھ اسکے بازو پر نہ رکھوں میں یقین نہیں کر تا۔”
26 ایک ہفتہ بعد دوبارہ شاگرد گھر میں جمع تھے اور تھو ما بھی انکے ساتھ تھا اس وقت دروازہ بند تھا۔ یسوع وہاں آکر انکے درمیان کھڑے ہو گئے یسوع نے کہا ، “سلامتی ہو تم پر۔” 27 تب یسوع نے تھو ما سے کہا ، “اپنی انگلی یہاں رکھو اور اپنے ہاتھ میرے بازو میں رکھو اور مزید شک میں نہ پڑو اور اعتقاد رکھو”۔
28 تھو ما نے یسوع سے کہا ، “اے میرے خدا وند، اے میرے خدا۔”
29 یسوع نے اس سے کہا ، “تم نے مجھے دیکھا اور ایمان لا ئے لیکن جن لوگوں نے مجھے بغیر دیکھے ایمان لا ئے وہ قابل مبارک باد ہیں۔”
یوحنا کی کتاب کا مقصد
30 یسوع نے اور کئی معجزے دکھا ئے جو اسکے شاگردوں نے دیکھے وہ تمام معجزے اس کتاب میں نہیں لکھے گئے۔ 31 لیکن یہ اس لئے لکھے گئے کہ تم ایمان لا ؤ کہ یسوع ہی مسیح ہے جو خدا کا بیٹا ہے تا کہ اس طرح ایمان لاکر تم اسکے نام سے زندگی پا ؤ۔

20 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the sepulchre.
5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.
6 Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie,
7 And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.
11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
15 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? whom seekest thou? She, supposing him to be the gardener, saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.
18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the Lord, and that he had spoken these things unto her.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
20 And when he had so said, he shewed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
23 Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained.
24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:
31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
