108 ああ神よ。
賛美が私の口からあふれてきます。
心から喜んで、あなたへの歌をささげましょう。
2 十弦の琴と竪琴よ、目覚めなさい。
共々に歌って、夜明けを迎えようではないか。
3 私は世界のどこでも、主をたたえます。
4 あなたの恵みは測り知れず、
その真実は天にまで達します。
5 ご栄光は、大空を突き抜くようにそびえています。
6 あなたが愛しておられる子、
私の叫びを聞いてください。
あなたの偉大な力で、私を救ってください。
7 神が聖なる約束を交わしてくださったので
私はほめたたえます。
神は、シェケムの全土とスコテの谷を下さると
約束してくださいました。
8 「ギルアデとマナセは、
おまえたちに与える、わたしの領地だ。
エフライムは、わたしのかぶと、ユダはわたしの笏。
9 しかし、モアブとエドムはさげすまされる。
わたしはペリシテ人に向かって、勝ちどきを上げよう。」
10 神以外のだれが、こんな要塞で固められた町々を
征服する力を、私に授けてくれるでしょう。
また、エドムまで導いてくれるでしょう。
11 神よ、あなたは私たちを見捨て、
その軍勢を置き去りになさったのでしょうか。
12 どうか、敵に立ち向かう力を与えてください。
同盟軍の助けなどあてにできません。
13 神の助けさえあれば、
勇敢に戦うことができます。
神が敵を踏みにじってくださるからです。

1 My heart, O God, is steadfast;(C)
I will sing(D) and make music with all my soul.
2 Awake, harp and lyre!(E)
I will awaken the dawn.
3 I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
4 For great is your love,(F) higher than the heavens;
your faithfulness(G) reaches to the skies.(H)
5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;(I)
let your glory be over all the earth.(J)
6 Save us and help us with your right hand,(K)
that those you love may be delivered.
7 God has spoken(L) from his sanctuary:(M)
“In triumph I will parcel out Shechem(N)
and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth.(O)
8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine;
Ephraim is my helmet,
Judah(P) is my scepter.
9 Moab(Q) is my washbasin,
on Edom(R) I toss my sandal;
over Philistia(S) I shout in triumph.”
10 Who will bring me to the fortified city?
Who will lead me to Edom?
11 Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us
and no longer go out with our armies?(T)
12 Give us aid against the enemy,
for human help is worthless.(U)
13 With God we will gain the victory,
and he will trample down(V) our enemies.
