⁴ for the ^(A)weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but ^[a]divinely powerful ^(B)for the destruction of fortresses. ⁵ We are destroying arguments and all ^(C)arrogance raised against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the ^(D)obedience of Christ, ⁶ and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever ^(E)your obedience is complete.

² And do not ^(A)be conformed to ^(B)this ^[a]world, but be transformed by the ^(C)renewing of your mind, so that you may ^[b](D)prove what the will of God is, that which is good and ^[c]acceptable and perfect.

^6 (A)For the mind ^[a]set on the flesh is ^(B)death, but the mind ^[b]set on the Spirit is life and peace,

²² that, in reference to your former way of life, you are to ^(A)rid yourselves of the ^(B)old ^[a]self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the ^(C)lusts of deceit, ²³ and that you are to be ^(D)renewed in the spirit of your minds, ²⁴ and to ^(E)put on the ^(F)new ^[b]self, which ^[c](G)in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.

^5 (A)Have this attitude ^[a]in yourselves which was also in ^(B)Christ Jesus,

¹⁶ For ^(A)who has known the mind of the Lord, that he will instruct Him? But ^(B)we have the mind of Christ.
