9 (A)And David became greater and greater, for the Lord of armies was with him.
David’s Mighty Men
10 (B)Now these are the heads of the mighty men whom David had, who remained faithful to him in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, (C)in accordance with the word of the Lord concerning Israel. 11 These constitute the list of David’s mighty men: (D)Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite, (E)the chief of the thirty; he wielded his spear against three hundred [a]whom he killed at one time.

David’s Mighty Warriors(B)
10 These were the chiefs of David’s mighty warriors—they, together with all Israel,(C) gave his kingship strong support to extend it over the whole land, as the Lord had promised(D)— 11 this is the list of David’s mighty warriors:(E)
Jashobeam,[a] a Hakmonite, was chief of the officers[b]; he raised his spear against three hundred men, whom he killed in one encounter.
