³¹ Of the half-tribe of Manasseh 18,000, who were ^(A)expressly named to come and make David king.

⁴¹ With them were ^(A)Heman and Jeduthun ^(B)and the rest of those chosen and ^(C)expressly named to give thanks to the Lord, ^(D)for his steadfast love endures for ever.

¹⁵ And ^(A)the men who have been mentioned by name rose and took the captives, and with the spoil they clothed all who were naked among them. They clothed them, gave them sandals, ^(B)provided them with food and drink, and anointed them, and carrying all the feeble among them on donkeys, they brought them to their kinsfolk at Jericho, ^(C)the city of palm trees.
