39 They were there with David for three days, eating and drinking, for their kindred had provided for them. 40 And also their neighbours, from as far away as Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, came bringing food on donkeys, camels, mules, and oxen—abundant provisions of meal, cakes of figs, clusters of raisins, wine, oil, oxen, and sheep, for there was joy in Israel.

39 The men spent three days there with David, eating and drinking,(A) for their families had supplied provisions for them. 40 Also, their neighbors from as far away as Issachar, Zebulun and Naphtali came bringing food on donkeys, camels, mules and oxen. There were plentiful supplies(B) of flour, fig cakes, raisin(C) cakes, wine, olive oil, cattle and sheep, for there was joy(D) in Israel.
