So David summoned the people of Israel from all across the nation[a] so that they could be present when the Ark of God was brought from Kiriath-jearim.

Then David and all Israel went to Baalah (i.e., Kiriath-jearim) in Judah to bring back the Ark of the Lord God enthroned above the Guardian Angels.[b] It was taken from the house of Abinadab on a new cart. Uzza and Ahio drove the oxen.

So David assembled all Israel,(A) from the Shihor River(B) in Egypt to Lebo Hamath,(C) to bring the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim.(D) David and all Israel went to Baalah(E) of Judah (Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim(F)—the ark that is called by the Name.

They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s(G) house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it.
