6 (A)And David and all Israel went up to (B)Baalah, that is, to Kiriath-jearim that belongs to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God, which is called by the name of the Lord who (C)sits enthroned above the cherubim. 7 And they carried the ark of God on a new cart, from the house of (D)Abinadab, and Uzzah and Ahio[a] were driving the cart. 8 And David and all Israel were rejoicing before God with all their might, with song and (E)lyres and harps and tambourines and cymbals and trumpets.

6 David and all Israel went to Baalah(A) of Judah (Kiriath Jearim) to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, who is enthroned between the cherubim(B)—the ark that is called by the Name.
7 They moved the ark of God from Abinadab’s(C) house on a new cart, with Uzzah and Ahio guiding it. 8 David and all the Israelites were celebrating with all their might before God, with songs and with harps, lyres, timbrels, cymbals and trumpets.(D)
