⁷And the son of Carmi: Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

⁸And the son of Ethan: Azariah.

⁹The sons also of Hezron who were born unto him: Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.

Achar,^[a]^(A) who brought trouble on Israel by violating the ban on taking devoted things.^[b]^(B)

⁸The son of Ethan:

Azariah.

⁹The sons born to Hezron^(C) were:

Jerahmeel, Ram and Caleb.^[c]
