¹⁶The sons of Gershom; Shebuel the first (son).

¹⁷And the sons of Eliezer were Rehabiah the first (son), and other sons were not to Eliezer; forsooth the sons of Rehabiah were multiplied full much.

¹⁸The sons of Izhar; Shelomith the first (son).

¹⁶The descendants of Gershom:^(A)

Shubael was the first.

¹⁷The descendants of Eliezer:

Rehabiah^(B) was the first.

Eliezer had no other sons, but the sons of Rehabiah were very numerous.

¹⁸The sons of Izhar:

Shelomith^(C) was the first.
