24 And as for the sons of Aaron, these were their divisions. The sons of Aaron were Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 2 And Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and they had no sons,[a] so Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests.

24 These were the divisions(A) of the descendants of Aaron:(B)
The sons of Aaron were Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.(C) 2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father did,(D) and they had no sons; so Eleazar and Ithamar served as the priests.
