1 Chronicles 29:15-17
1599 Geneva Bible
15 For we are [a]strangers before thee, and sojourners like all our fathers: our days are like the shadow upon the earth, and there is none [b]abiding.
16 O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build thee an house for thine holy Name, is of thine hand, and all is thine.
17 I know also my God, that thou (A)triest the heart, and hast pleasure in righteousness: I have offered willingly in the uprightness of mine heart all these things: now also have I seen thy people which are found here, to offer unto thee willingly with joy.

1 Chronicles 29:15-17
New International Version
15 We are foreigners and strangers(A) in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow,(B) without hope. 16 Lord our God, all this abundance that we have provided for building you a temple for your Holy Name comes from your hand, and all of it belongs to you. 17 I know, my God, that you test the heart(C) and are pleased with integrity. All these things I have given willingly and with honest intent. And now I have seen with joy how willingly your people who are here have given to you.(D)
