19 Give my son Solomon a whole heart to keep and to carry out all Your commands, Your decrees, and Your statutes,(A) and to build the temple for which I have made provision.(B)
20 Then David said to the whole assembly, “Praise the Lord your God.” So the whole assembly praised the Lord God of their ancestors.(C) They bowed down and paid homage to the Lord and the king.(D)
21 The following day they offered sacrifices to the Lord and burnt offerings to the Lord: 1,000 bulls, 1,000 rams, and 1,000 lambs, along with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.(E)

19 And give my son Solomon the wholehearted devotion(A) to keep your commands, statutes and decrees(B) and to do everything to build the palatial structure for which I have provided.”(C)
20 Then David said to the whole assembly, “Praise the Lord your God.” So they all praised the Lord, the God of their fathers; they bowed down, prostrating themselves before the Lord and the king.
Solomon Acknowledged as King(D)
21 The next day they made sacrifices to the Lord and presented burnt offerings to him:(E) a thousand bulls, a thousand rams and a thousand male lambs, together with their drink offerings, and other sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.(F)
