1 Chronicles 5:25-26

²⁵But they broke faith with the God of their fathers, and ^(A)whored ^(B)after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them. ²⁶So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of ^(C)Pul king of Assyria, the spirit of ^(D)Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and he took them into exile, namely, the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them ^(E)to Halah, ^(F)Habor, Hara, and ^(G)the river Gozan, to this day.

²⁵But they were unfaithful^(A) to the God of their ancestors and prostituted^(B) themselves to the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them. ²⁶So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit^(C) of Pul^(D) king of Assyria (that is, Tiglath-Pileser^(E) king of Assyria), who took the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh into exile. He took them to Halah,^(F) Habor, Hara and the river of Gozan, where they are to this day.
