25 But they broke faith with the God of their fathers, and (A)whored (B)after the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them. 26 So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of (C)Pul king of Assyria, the spirit of (D)Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, and he took them into exile, namely, the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, and brought them (E)to Halah, (F)Habor, Hara, and (G)the river Gozan, to this day.

25 But they were unfaithful(A) to the God of their ancestors and prostituted(B) themselves to the gods of the peoples of the land, whom God had destroyed before them. 26 So the God of Israel stirred up the spirit(C) of Pul(D) king of Assyria (that is, Tiglath-Pileser(E) king of Assyria), who took the Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh into exile. He took them to Halah,(F) Habor, Hara and the river of Gozan, where they are to this day.

25 And they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them.
26 And the God of Israel stirred up the spirit of Pul king of Assyria, and the spirit of Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria, and he carried them away, even the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, and brought them unto Halah, and Habor, and Hara, and to the river Gozan, unto this day.
