¹² remember that you were at that time without Christ, ^(A)alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and strangers to ^(B)the covenants of promise, having ^(C)no hope and ^(D)without God in the world.

⁸ executing vengeance on those who ^(A)do not know God and to those who ^(B)do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
