1 Corinthians 10:13-15

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to humanity. God is faithful,(A) and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation He will also provide a way of escape(B) so that you are able to bear it.
Warning against Idolatry
14 Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry. 15 I am speaking as to wise people. Judge for yourselves what I say.

New International Version
13 No temptation[a] has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful;(A) he will not let you be tempted[b] beyond what you can bear.(B) But when you are tempted,[c] he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Idol Feasts and the Lord’s Supper
14 Therefore, my dear friends,(C) flee from idolatry.(D) 15 I speak to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say.
