1 Corinthians 12:11-13

¹¹All these [gifts, achievements, abilities] are inspired and brought to pass by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, Who apportions to each person individually [exactly] as He chooses.

¹²For just as the body is a unity and yet has many parts, and all the parts, though many, form [only] one body, so it is with Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

¹³For by [^[a]means of the personal agency of] one [Holy] Spirit we were all, whether Jews or Greeks, slaves or free, baptized [and ^[b]by baptism united together] into one body, and all made to drink of one [Holy] Spirit.

¹¹All these are the work of one and the same Spirit,^(A) and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

Unity and Diversity in the Body

¹²Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body,^(B) so it is with Christ.^(C) ¹³For we were all baptized^(D) by^[a] one Spirit^(E) so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free^(F)—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.^(G)
