¹¹All these things are produced by the one and same Spirit who gives what he wants to each person.

¹²Christ is just like the human body—a body is a unit and has many parts; and all the parts of the body are one body, even though there are many. ¹³We were all baptized by one Spirit into one body, whether Jew or Greek, or slave or free, and we all were given one Spirit to drink.

¹¹All these are the work of one and the same Spirit,^(A) and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.

Unity and Diversity in the Body

¹²Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body,^(B) so it is with Christ.^(C) ¹³For we were all baptized^(D) by^[a] one Spirit^(E) so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free^(F)—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.^(G)
