8 Love never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be set-aside[a]. If there are tongues, they will cease[b]. If there is knowledge, it will be set-aside. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part— 10 but when the complete[c] thing comes, the thing in part will be set-aside.

8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies,(A) they will cease; where there are tongues,(B) they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9 For we know in part(C) and we prophesy in part, 10 but when completeness comes,(D) what is in part disappears.
