1 Corinthians 14:33-35
New International Reader's Version
33 God is not a God of disorder. He is a God of peace, just as in all the churches of the Lord’s people.
34 Women should remain silent in church meetings. They are not allowed to speak. They must follow the lead of those who are in authority, as the law says. 35 If they have a question about something, they should ask their own husbands at home. It is shameful for women to speak in church meetings.

New International Version
33 For God is not a God of disorder(A) but of peace(B)—as in all the congregations(C) of the Lord’s people.(D)
34 Women[a] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak,(E) but must be in submission,(F) as the law(G) says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.[b]
