1 Corinthians 15:26-28
American Standard Version
26 The last enemy that shall be abolished is death. 27 For, He put all things in subjection under his feet. [a]But when he saith, [b]All things are put in subjection, it is evident that he is excepted who did subject all things unto him. 28 And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all.

New International Version
26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.(A) 27 For he “has put everything under his feet.”[a](B) Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.(C) 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him,(D) so that God may be all in all.(E)
