1 Corinthians 15:26-28

26 Death is the last enemy to be done away with. 27 Certainly, “he has put all things in subjection under his feet.”[a] Now when it says that all things have been put in subjection, obviously that does not include the one who subjected all things to him. 28 But when all things have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also be subjected[b] to the one who subjected all things to him, in order that God may be all in all.

New International Version
26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.(A) 27 For he “has put everything under his feet.”[a](B) Now when it says that “everything” has been put under him, it is clear that this does not include God himself, who put everything under Christ.(C) 28 When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him,(D) so that God may be all in all.(E)
