Proclaiming Christ Crucified

2 And I, when I came to you, brothers,^{[a] (A)}did not come proclaiming to you ^(B)the testimony^[b] of God with lofty speech or wisdom.

4 This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and ^(A)stewards of the mysteries of God.

^9 (A)making known^[a] to us the mystery of his will, ^(B)according to his purpose, which he ^(C)set forth in Christ

^3 (A)how the mystery was made known to me ^(B)by revelation, ^(C)as I have written briefly. ^4 (D)When you read this, you can perceive my insight into ^(E)the mystery of Christ, ⁵ which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.

³² This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.
