13 We also speak these things, not in words(A) taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.[a] 14 But the unbeliever[b] does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated[c] spiritually. 15 The spiritual person, however, can evaluate[d] everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated[e] by anyone. 16 For

who has known the Lord’s mind,
that he may instruct Him?(B)[f]

But we have the mind of Christ.(C)

13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom(A) but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words.[a] 14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God(B) but considers them foolishness,(C) and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit(D) makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,

“Who has known the mind of the Lord
    so as to instruct him?”[b](E)

But we have the mind of Christ.(F)
