⁸ Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will ^(A)receive his own ^[a]reward according to his own labor.

⁵ Therefore ^(A)do not go on ^[a]passing judgment before ^[b]the time, but wait ^(B)until the Lord comes who will both ^(C)bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s ^(D)praise will come to him from God.

¹⁷ For if I do this voluntarily, I have a ^(A)reward; but if against my will, I have a ^(B)stewardship entrusted to me.

⁴ But each one must ^(A)examine his own work, and then he will have reason for ^(B)boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.
