¹¹To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless.^(A)

¹¹Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;

¹²We work hard with our own hands.^(A) When we are cursed, we bless;^(B) when we are persecuted,^(C) we endure it;

¹²And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

⁵in beatings, imprisonments^(A) and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger;^(B)
